Day 125 - A New Start

I have had the idea to start a new blog for a while now, but I haven't been able to come up with a name for it. I am counting down the days until we go to NYC/Philly to look for a new home and to vacation for our 5'th anniversary and when I was on my way home from work the other day and was listening to a song, the name came to me.

127 Days. I kept trying to figure out what to add on to it but nothing sounded right so two days later and we are down to 125 days - which is where we are now. 125 days until our trip. This trip feels like more than I vacation and feels very important. We are thinking of moving north so this trip will help us decide if we will take that huge step of not. There are many other factors to consider as well but this will be a very important factor.

We have planned on going back to NYC since the day we left this year. We don't want to live there - but preferably somewhere within a few hours of the city. A huge part of my thoughts has been consumed by thinking of moving and even just the vacation, which is where the 125 days come in.

86,400 seconds is all we have each day. Can you guess which song I was listening to? I didn't want to waste all of this time only thinking about our vacation when it could be spent with my kids. So I would like to have a post each day about what we do that is fun each day, even if it is something small.

Of course there will also be parts of my research in here, where it will be easy to look up later and have as a reference. I am sure it will also contain bits of life after I resume school sometime next year.

Seeing as how I don't feel productive at all recently with having to get up early for work and being wiped out when I get home I believe that needs to change. Not only do I want to blog about something fun each day but also something productive that I do each day. Maybe I will start a new project. I honestly have no idea.

My goals for each post:

Activity with the kids
One productive thing I have done
A tiny piece about our trip
A bit of moving information
